1st Semester Final Exam Schedule and Procedures

Final Exams for this semester will take place on Wed., Dec. 17 through Fri., Dec. 19.  Please read further for Exam Times and Procedures and Rules that must be followed.  Any weather related days off of school will result in the schedule being moved forward one day and into January.

Welcome to SHAPE Woodstock! – Parents Invited to January Event

Research shows that students who participate in physical activity before they begin their academic classes have a longer attention span, have higher reading comprehension scores, and perform better on standardized tests than students who do not exercise. Woodstock Community Unit School District 200 has been awarded a grant to enhance physical activity and healthy lifestyles for our students and their families that we are calling SHAPE Woodstock.

Winter Art Show Opens With Reception on December 8

The District 200 annual Winter Student Art Show kicks off with an opening reception at the Woodstock Public Library on Monday, December 8 from 6:00-7:00 p.m.  Student works of art from all grade levels will be on display from December 8 through January 12, 2015, during the library’s normal business hours.

Notes of Love Home Presented to Veteran

Tim Carner, a medically-retired Army veteran, and his family will be recipients of a new home provided through the Operation Finally Home.  This is a Texas-based nonprofit organization that provides houses to wounded vets.  Recently, Mr. Carner and his family were shown a preview of their new home. Parents and guardians calling in to excuse their student(s) for an absence, PLEASE CALL (815) 334-2400. Leave a message with your name, the name of the student, the date and reason for your student(s) absence.  If they are sick, please state what the illness is and if they have a fever. Thank you.

All registration fees must be paid in order to participate in the graduation ceremony.  Please do not wait until the end of the year to take care of these obligations.  Also, Herff Jones will be here to hand out graduation cap and gown order forms to your student on November 19th.
