Open House and Freshmen/New Student Orientation Dates

Woodstock North High School will hold on Open House/New Student Parent Night on Tuesday, August 12 at 7 p.m.  All parents are invited to learn about all the exciting things happening and opportunities for their students at WNHS.  Freshmen and New Student Orientation will be held on Wednesday, August 13 from 8 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Registration Packets for 2014-15 now due!

Registration packets for the 2014-2015 school year were due on Monday, July 7.  Thank you to those who have returned their packet(s).  If you still have not, please do so as soon as possible.  Completed packets MUST be returned BEFORE school starts on Thursday, August 14.

Website Maintenance – Monday, August 4

All D200 websites will undergo maintenance procedures during the morning of Monday, August 4th.  The sites will be unavailable during the maintenance work, which may take several hours to complete.  We will make every attempt to minimize the down time and have the sites functioning as quickly as possible.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Volunteers Hope to "Stuff the Bus" With School Supplies

On Thursday, July 31 and Friday, August 1, students from Woodstock public schools will host a “Stuff the Bus” event at the Woodstock Wal-Mart, 1275 Lake Ave.  Volunteers will be there each day from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. to accept donations of school supplies for D200 students in need.

Home Access System Currently Being Updated for 2014-15

The district’s Home Access system (for families with students in middle school and high school) is currently disabled as information is uploaded for the new year.

District Offices on Summer Schedule

District 200 offices are currently operating on a four-day work week through Friday, August 1st.  Buildings are open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and closed on Fridays.  Employees work ten hours each day to accommodate the change. The offices of all D200 elementary schools including the Verda Dierzen Early Learning Center are currently closed and will reopen on Wednesday, July 23.   Middle school offices will reopen on Monday, July 21.

Justin Smith Named New Principal at Woodstock High School

The District 200 Board of Education has unanimously approved the appointment of Dr. Justin Smith as the new Principal for Woodstock High School.  Smith replaces Principal Corey Tafoya, who has accepted the position of Assistant Superintendent in District 155.

Tumbling Classes Being Offered at WNHS

Woodstock North High School has teamed up with Layton Athletics in Ringwood, Illinois to offer a Tumble Class on Mondays from 4 to 5 p.m. here at WNHS.  The class will begin June 2nd and run through July 28th (No class June 30th). The cost of the class is $80 for 8 weeks.

WNHS Students to Compete at State Special Olympics

Five students in the Life Skills and Life Connections Programs at Woodstock North High School will be competing at the State Level of the Special Olympics . To qualify for State games, an athlete must receive a gold medal at the Regional meet.

WNHS Students Excel at Graphics Competition!

We would like to congratulate the following students for excelling at the Harper College Graphics Competition! This competition is comprised of many local area and Chicagoland high schools.  North had nine students winning 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trohies as well as two Best in Show accomplishments!
