District Announces 2014-15 Calendar

The District 200 Board of Education has approved the school year calendar for the 2014-15 school year. The calendar mirrors those of the previous few years in which students started class in mid-August and the first semester ended at Winter Break.

Woodstock North High School senior Rebecca Einspahr was honored as an Illinois Golden Apple Scholar on February 28th.  Each year thousands of seniors across the state apply for this distinction.

Woodstock Students Present Important Message to Illinois Senator

When District 200 was awarded the Drug Free Community Support Grant from the federal government, the grant stipulated that the District had to identify local resources whose mission would support the goals of the grant.  From that, the Community Partnership Coalition was created, and now has over 70 members.   From February 5 through 8, high school students from Woodstock traveled with Mayor Brian Sager to the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) National Leadership Forum in Washington, DC

State Seeks Student Input for "5Essentials" Survey

The Illinois State Board of Education has created a survey instrument being given statewide for teachers, as well as students in 6th - 12th grades called the Illinois 5Essentials Survey.   The information this survey gathers will be used to help improve our schools.  Between now and March 22, the middle and high schools will be asking students to complete the 15 minute survey.

WNHS No Longer Printing/Mailing Progress Reports

In an effort to save paper and postage, Woodstock North High School will no longer be printing or mailing out Progress Reports during the school year.  Report Cards WILL still be printed and mailed home at the end of each semester.  Grades are updated by 4 p.m. every Thursday, and are available on the District's Home Access Center.

Over the last few weeks, the media has reported that there is widespread influenza A throughout most of our country. Today, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) called it an epidemic, and reminded people that they will still gain benefits from the influenza vaccine if they receive it now.
