In only the second time they have participated in a statewide science competition, the Science Olympiad team from Woodstock North has shown that they are no beginners when it comes to mastering difficult scientific concepts. The 15-member team of 10th-12th graders brought home one gold medal and four silver medals from the Illinois Science Olympiad Regional Competition at Rock Valley College on Mar. 17.March 6, 2012
Woodstock North junior, Huaira Martinez, has been chosen to represent Illinois as a National Youth Delegate to the 2012 Washington Youth Summit on the Environment. The summit will take place June 24-29 at George Mason University in Washington, D.C.February 27, 2012
AP Testing will begin at WNHS on Monday, May 7th. A non-refundable deposit to take each of these exams is $13, and is due by 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 13th.
