April 28, 2016Woodstock North High School will be honoring the Class of 2016 at their Senior Awards Assembly on Thur., April 28. The assembly will begin at 1:15 p.m. and last approximately two hours. All parents and presenters are asked to enter through Entrance #2. We are asking all students to dress nice for this event. This is a time when we honor the seniors who have achieved so much over the last four years, so we would like all students to dress appropriately out of respect for the senior class.
April 28, 2016Woodstock North High School is on the Washington Post's list of America's Most Challenging High Schools for the second year in a row! This is an amazing accomplishment that reflects the hard work of our teachers, counselors, associates, administration, assistants, and everyone else at Woodstock North that contributes and collaborates to offer rigorous opportunities to our students. But more significantly, the student body deserves to be recognized for their hard work and willingness to stretch themselves beyond their academic comfort zones.

April 13, 2016WNHS has selected Root Studios as its Official Senior Photographer. They will be coming on Tues., July 19th - 7am to 4pm in the cafeteria and Thurs., Sept 8th - 7am to 4pm in room D187. Root Studios will be mailing home Session Brochures to all seniors soon, so be sure to look for it in your mail so you do not miss your assigned time. March 18, 2016Woodstock North High School Senior Wolfgang Kemp has been selected as the 2016 Section 4 recipient of the “National High School Spirit of Sport Award” by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). Section 4 is a 5-state area encompassing Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan. The National High School Spirit of Sport Award was created by the NFHS to recognize those individuals who exemplify the ideals of the spirit of sport that represent the core mission of education-based athletics.
March 14, 2016WNHS Juniors, Ryan Hanson and William Taylor, did extremely well at the WYSE Sectionals at Vernon Hills High School on Friday, March 11th. Ryan earned 1st place in computer science and 3rd place in chemistry. William earned 1st place in engineering graphics. Both will be competing at the State Academic Challenge on April 13th at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Congratulations Ryan and Will!
February 4, 2016Woodstock District 200 presented its first D200 Technology Night on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at Olson Elementary School. The evening focused on the district’s 1:1 technology initiative and the exciting new ways our students are learning. Presentations from the evening are now available for viewing.
