College Pennants
Celebrating Our Seniors!

Seniors recently celebrated their bright futures at our “I Applied, I Enrolled, I Enlisted” event!

The event gave students the opportunity to proudly celebrate and share their post-high school plans, whether that includes college, careers, military service, apprenticeships, or other exciting pathways. Students enjoyed photos, karaoke, and time with classmates while celebrating this exciting milestone together.

We are so proud of the Class of 2026 and can’t wait to see all they accomplish in the future!

Solar Farm

The D200 Sustainability Committee celebrated Woodstock North High School's new solar field with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Since it was turned on this year, the solar panels just north of the school have generated more than 200,000 kilowatt-hours of power for the building.

While many high schoolers are still waking up, about 10 dedicated Woodstock North High School students are already busy, serving as mentors for their younger peers. This past year marked the successful debut of a new partnership between Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of McHenry County and District 200, pairing high school "Bigs" with elementary "Littles" at Mary Endres Elementary School.

Dozens of students at Woodstock and Woodstock North high schools are trading some classroom time to test-drive potential careers in courthouses, animal hospitals, Realtor offices, City Hall, and other industries. Woodstock Community Unit School District 200 launched its Micro-Internship and Internship programs in the fall of 2025 to provide students with work-based learning to bridge the gap between academics and the professional world.
