D200 Distinguished and Commended Scholar Programs

Starting with the Class of 2025, the Cum Laude program was replaced by the of D200 Distinguished Scholar & D200 Commended Scholar.

High School Curriculum Guide

D200 Distinguished Scholar

  • Cumulative GPA:  3.75 +
  • Attendance: 95% Junior & Senior Years
  • Character: No suspensions/conduct violations
  • Academic: 1 ELA & 1 Math indicator
  • Career: 3 career-ready indicators
  • Testing: SAT 1400 or ACT 30

D200 Commended Scholar

  • Cumulative GP: 2.8 +
  • Attendance: 95% Junior & Senior Years
  • Character: No suspensions/conduct violations
  • Academic: 1 ELA & 1 Math Indicator
  • Career:  3 career-ready indicators

 

English Language Arts (ELA) Indicators (1)  

  • AP English exam score: 3+
  • AP English grade: A, B, C
  • DC English grade: A, B, C
  • Transitional English grade: A, B, C
  • SAT: EBRW 540+

Math Indicators (1)

  • AP Math exam score: 3+
  • AP Math grade: A, B, C
  •  DC Math grade: A, B, C
  • Algebra II grade: A, B, C
  • SAT: Math 540+ & Math senior year

Career-Ready Indicators (3)

  • Career Development Experience
  • Industry Credential
  • ASVAB score: 31 +
  • DC Career Pathway Course
  • Complete Program of Study
  • 12 months of consistent employment
  • Consecutive summer employment
  • 25 hours community service
  • 2 sports or clubs (=1 indicator)
