A total of 55 students in the Woodstock and Woodstock North High School graduating class of 2026 have been designated as Illinois State Scholars for the 2025-2026 school year.

The Illinois Student Assistance Commission, the state’s college access and financial aid agency, presents this annual recognition of academic achievement to exceptional Illinois high school students who rank in the top 10 percent of graduates from Illinois high schools.

This year, nearly 19,200 honorees joined the other outstanding students who have been honored since the designation was first introduced in 1958.

“We’re extremely proud of the students who’ve put in the extra work to earn the designation as an Illinois State Scholar,” said Mike Moan, superintendent of Woodstock Community Unit School District 200. “We know these students all have bright futures ahead.”
